No — packing is fully included in HamEx's service at no extra cost. Just bring your goods to our Nairobi office (City Mark Mall, S25, 2nd Floor) and our team handles professional packing, wrapping, and labelling.
Rates are based on chargeable weight — whichever is greater between actual weight (kg) and volumetric weight (L×W×H cm ÷ 5000). Our calculator handles this automatically. Final rates may vary slightly for special goods or remote destinations.
Transit times vary by destination and carrier. East Africa & Gulf: 3–5 days. UK/Europe: 5–7 days. China/Asia: 5–10 days. USA/Canada: 7–14 days. We use the fastest available carrier (DHL, FedEx, Aramex, UPS) for your specific route.
Yes. Our team prepares all necessary export documentation and works with trusted customs agents at the destination. For B2B clients we provide commercial invoices, packing lists, and any required certificates. Destination import duties are payable by the recipient.
We accept M-Pesa (PayBill & Till), bank transfer (KCB, Equity, Co-op), and cash at our office. Corporate accounts with invoice billing are available for registered B2B partners with regular shipment volumes.
